DADA Typographic Collage
DADA Typographic Collage originated in Zurich, Switzerland, in 1916, not in Italy. However, its experimental typography, collage, fragmentation, and use of everyday materials were closely related to Italian Futurism, especially Filippo Tommaso Marinetti’s Words in Freedom. Dada flourished internationally from 1916 to 1924. In Italy, its influence appeared mainly through artistic experimentation, graphic design, exhibitions, and later contemporary practices.
